POCUS has been successfully used in in the Emergency Department and ICU for a wide range of indications. It can be used for diagnosing a critical condition or monitoring the response to treatment. Therefore, POCUS is gaining popularity across many different medical specialties and is becoming part of the modern physicians clinical armamentarium. Here we present tips and tricks and more in depth background for performing POCUS of the various organs. This site provides teaching resources that can be used by physicians, medical educators in the classroom, and by trainees for self-study.
